Answer: The transfer fee is obvious but make sure you don’t go over the credit card limit when you add a balance without taking that fee into account. Going over the limit will get you an extra fee.
The biggest catch happens if you don’t pay the transferred balance off within the special APR lifetime. Many cards will charge you the default rate retroactively once your balance reaches the end of period of low introductory APR.
